Given :-

An elevator descends into a mine shaft at the rate of 6 m/min.

The descend starts from 10 m above the ground level.

To Find :-

Time to reach the shaft 350 m below the ground level.

SoluTion :-

Initially the elevator is at 10 metre above ground level

Total Distance = 350 + 10 = 360

\sf {Rate\ of\ travel = 6m/min}\\\\\\\sf {Time\ taken =\frac{Total\ distance}{Rate\ of\ travel}}\\\\\\\sf {\mapsto \ \ \frac{360}{6}}\\\\\\\\\sf {=60\ minutes\ Or\ 1\ hour }
