speed of the elevator=6 m/min
total distance =350 + 10 =360m(as it starts from 10m above the ground level)
time taken=(360÷6)=60min
or 1hour ans.

The rate of 6m/min means that, in every minute, it goes down by 6m

We have 10 above the ground and 350 m below the ground

Note:

-350 m, means it is 350 m below the ground

Total distance = 10 + 350

                      = 360 m

Time taken = 360/6

                 = 60 minutes

OR

1 hour
