Given,

Descending rate of the elevator = 6 m/ minute

The descent from 10 m  above the ground level

To Find,

Time taken to reach a distance of -370m =?

Solution,

Total distance to descent  = 370 + 10

Total distance to descent  =  380m

Time taken = Total DIstance /  Descending rate

Time taken = 380/ 6

Time taken = 63.3 minutes

Time taken = 63 minutes approx.

Hence, it will take 63 minutes to reach -370 m.
