An elevator goes down at the rate of 3 m per minute. If it starts going down from a height of 20 m above the ground level, find the time taken by the elevator to reach 100 m below the ground level.

Answer : 40 Mins
Distance travelled by the elevator = 20 m + 100 m = 120 m.
If it takes 1 min for the elevator to move 3m then it would take 120/3 = 40 Mins for the Elevator to move 120m.
