Solution :

• An elevator of 3 × 10⁴ N is raised to a height of 100m in 20s .

We have to find the work done by the electric motor .

• Mass of elevator = 3 × 10⁴N

• g = 10

Work Done = mgh/t

> 3 × 10⁴ × 100 × 10/20

> 3 × 10⁷/20 Joules .

> 1.5 × 10⁶ Joules .

This is the required answer .

Given :-

An elevator of 3×10⁴ N is raised to a height of 100m in 20s.

To Find :-

Work done

Solution :-

We know that

W = mgh/t

W = 3 × 10⁴ × 10 × 100/20

W = 3 × 10⁴ × 10 × 10/2

W = 3 × 10⁴ × 10²/2

W = 1.5 × 10⁶ J

Thereore

Work done is 1.5 × 10⁶ Joules
