Dear Diary
Today is a very happy day for me. For the past one week my grandparents were staying with us. Every day I used to draw a card for them and keep it with a rose on their side table. I wanted to express my love and gratitude for all that they have done for me. I am good at drawing so I thought I will make them happy by drawing cards for them. They would see the new card and the rose every day but they did not say anything. I felt that may be I have not been able to make them happy.
But today suddenly when I
went to their room they called me close and hugged me. My grandfather lifted me
in his arms and kissed me. They said that they had liked all my cards and were
going to keep them. They were so happy with my efforts that they gave me a
surprise gift. They gave me a sketch pen set which I have always wanted to own. I was so happy.
