an employee works in a company on a contract of 30 days on the condition that he will receive 200 for each day he works and he will be fine rupees 20 for each day he is absent if he received Rs 3800 in all for how many days did he remain absent

As person in 30 days will get 200×30= Rs 6000.

So as he got only RS 3800.

Only RS 6000-3800=2200 was deducted from his salary.

So if we see he was fine RS 20 for each day and with that he also lose his per day salary Rs200. So in total he used to get deducted Rs220(200+20) per day he use to absent.S

So the number of days he was absent

=Total salary deducted÷per absent day deduction

=2200÷220

=10

So he was absent for only 10 days.
