maximum wage of an employee without absent is 30*200= Rs.6000
20 per absent day reduction ( fine )
the actual wage of employee 3800
assume his working days is 20 days
absent days is 10 days
20*200-(10*20)=4000-200=3800=actual wage of employee
so 10 days is the answer

Given :
contract days - 30 days
each day he receives Rs200
fined for absent is Rs20
He receives the salary of Rs 3800
Solution:
Total salary he would have got if he was not absent = 200×30= 6000
The remaining salary he did not get due to availing leave= 6000-3800=2200

Therefore ; the total no of days he was absent = 2200÷ 200= 11
Therefore he was absent for 11 days
