Explanation:

Mass of empty density bottle = 30 gm

mass of density bottle with water in it 62 gm

Mass if density bottle with the liquid = 54 gm

Mass of water only = 62-30=32 gm

(a) Now volume of 1 g of water = 1cm

3

∴ Volume of density bottle = 32 cm

(b) Mass of liquid only = 54-30=24 gm

∴ density of the liquid = ∴

Volumeofliquid

Massofliquidonly

=

32cm

24g

=0.75g/cm

Answer:

◇ Given

● Mass of empty bottle = 22g

● Mass of bottle with water = 50g

● Mass of bottle with brine sol = 54g

♤ Mass of water = 50-20=30g

☆ Density of water =1

♤ So the volume is water = 30 cm3

♤ So the volume of bottle = 30 cm3

♤ So the volume of brine sol. = 30 cm3

☆ Density = mass ÷ volume

♤ So the density of brine solution is

♤ M÷V= 54 ÷ 30 = 1.8 g/cm3
