Mass of empty density bottle = 30 gm

mass of density bottle with water in it 62 gm

Mass if density bottle with the liquid = 54 gm

Mass of water only = 62-30=32 gm

(a) Now volume of 1 g of water = 1cm ^3

∴ Volume of density bottle = 32 cm ^3

(b) Mass of liquid only = 54-30=24 gm

∴ density of the liquid = ∴ Mass of liquid only/Volume of liquid

= 24g/32cm^3

=0.75g/cm^2
