The power of an energy signal is 0, because of dividing finite energy by infinite time (or length). ... Since theenergy of a power signal is infinite, it has no meaning to us. Thus, we usepower (energy per given time) forpower signal, because the power ofpower signal is finite, 0 < P < ∞.
