an engine can pump 30000 of water to a vertical height of 45m in 10 minutes calculate the work done by the machine and the power

First,

Energy used = work done

We will find the mass of water . D= M/V
= 1000/30m/sec Cube


mass = 30000kg \\  \\ potential  \: energy = mgh \\  30000 \times 9.8 \times 45 = 13230000j \\ power = work \: done  \div timetaken \\ power = 13230000  \div 600 = 22050watts
