SoluTion-

Work done by engine [Against gravity] :-

W = mgh

→ W = 100 × 10 × 10

→ W = 10000 J

Power used by engine = W/∆t

→ Power used by engine = 10000/5

→ Power used by engine = 2000 W

Power of engine be P,

→ P × 60/100 = 2000

→ P = (2000 × 100) / 60

→ P = 20000/6

→ P = 3333.34 W

→ P = 3.333 kW

Hence, power of engine will be 3.333 kW.
