An engineer hires contract labour to build a house for a client. From his previous

experience of building a house of the same size, he knows that if he hires 15 men, it would

take them 20 days to finish building. But for this client, he wants to complete the building

in less number of days. What will you suggest to him?

Answer:

He can hire more men in order to make the work faster

e.g : if he has to complete the work in 10 days he can hire 30 men

this is indirect proportion

formula is x1/x2 = y2/y1
