an English word consists of 9 alphabets.the sum of twice the no.

of vowels and three times the no.of consonants present in the words is equal to four more than four times the total no. of vowels in the English alphabets.the product of the no. vowels and consonants present in the word is _____3_____

total alphabets =9

vowes= x

consonents=y

x+y=9

the vowels are a,ei,o,u = 5

2x+3x=4+4x5

2x + 3y =24

multiplying (1) by 2,

we get

2x + 2y =18

2x+3y+24

subrating (1) by(2) we get

y= 6

x+y =9

x=9-y=9-6=3

so the answer will be 3
