An equilateral triangle ABC of side 7cm is drawn.It is possible to construct an isosceles triangle DCB on the other side of BC,if the equal side DC and DB are of length 3.5cm each?Give reasons. ​

the triangle is not possible....

it should satisfy a triplet

m {}^{2} . \:  \: m {}^{2}  + 1. \:  \: m {}^{2}  - 1

but in above case sum of two sides is not greater than third side.....
