after this
substitute the value of y in eq. 1 and equate it to 26.
then u would get the quadratic equation
2x^2-2x-1=0
solve the quadratic equation using quadratic formula. you would get x=1+root3/2 or 1-root3/2
now y=6-5x
put the value of x.
u would get.
7+5root3/2 or 7-5root3/2
after this
substitute the value of y in eq. 1 and equate it to 26.
then u would get the quadratic equation
