Let the side be "x" for a sec.

a/2 is half the side.

if you draw the diagram:

cos30 = R/a/2

= > R = a/2 × cos30

= > R = a/2 × √3/2

= > R = √3a/4

= > R = 6√3/4

= > R = 3√3/2
