An equilateral triangle of side 6 cm is inscribed in a circle. Find the radius of the circle.

We know that for an equilateral triangle, Height (perpendicular) = (√3/2).(side)

We know that for an equilateral triangle, Height (perpendicular) = (√3/2).(side)Here, Height = (√3/2).S

we now get that length of the line segment denoted by “a” = (2/3)

Height = T (2/3).(√3/2)

S =(S/ √3) = Radius

Radius = (6/ √3)

= 2√3 cm
