So, here the perimeter will remain same.

That is

a + a + a = 2πr

3a = 2πr

r = \frac{3a}{2\pi}

let one side of the equilateral triangle is x cm .

so perimeter of equilateral triangle = circumference of the sircle formed .

let r be the radius

so,

3x = 2πr

r = 3x / 2π
