Hi,

When an equilibrium mixture of the reaction 2H2s=2h2+s2 had 0.5 mole h2s & 0.4moles of s2in one liter vessel. The value of equilibrium constant can be calculated as follows;

Note this ones first;

Equilibrium concentration of H2S = 0.5 M

Equilibrium concentration of S2 = 0.4 M

Equilibrium concentration of H2 = 0.8 M

Kc = [H2]² [S2]/[H2S]²

kc = 0.8² x 0.4/0.5²

kc= 6.4
