Swachhta means cleanliness. We all know that cleanliness is next to godliness. To maintain health and hygiene a person should always keep his surrounding neat and clean.
From waking up in the morning till going off to sleep at night, everyone should refrain from any kind of activity that includes dirtying his/ her surrounding.
The ways I practice Swachhta are, disposing of garbage in a specific place where it is collected by municipality every weekend. Not using plastic packets , bottles, as they are non biodegradable.
Not littering and spitting on road as this acts as an incubator for the germs and bacterias to grow.
Practicing of regular sweeping and dusting at home to keep it clean. Always washing of hand and feet after coming to home from outside.
These are few habits that everyone should adopt to maintain swachhta at home as well as in the streets.
Cause if we make our environment dirty, it will affect on us only.

As we know that cleanliness begins at home. So we should keep ourselves as well as others clean .
Everyday at out residence I saw many garbage falling hither and tiher. I felt very sad about the common sense of the public. I know that since the garbages on the street are not coming inside our house we the common people are least bothered to clean it. If this continues then one day our world will be filled with junk only. There will no life on the planet earth. The entire nation is abuzz about the Clean india movement or the Swachh Bharat abhijyan launched by our prime minister Narendra Modi. Apart from keeping ourselves clean we should also look after nature. We should always clean it. If anywhere we see garbages we should throw it in the' use me ' or the dustbin. We should avoid using plastic or polythene bags since they take very larger time to decompose.
So the first step towards making Earth not only clean but also healthy starts with you a reply then there are millions of people who are going to follow you because you are the change. So maintain your Earth by keeping it healthy and clean.
