Last holiday my family and I had what I can call: “A Trip to Remember” the kind of those that can’t be repeated. It all started in late October when all of a sudden my dad told us: “Let’s go to Europe!” It was going to be our very first visit to that continent. We had a lot to prepare, like getting our European visa and buying a bunch of clothes items for the cold, including coats, thermal clothing, boots, and scarves and European electrical adapters, etc. My sister and I started making the itinerary and decided what we were going to do each day.
It was Christmas Day; we took a cab around 6 p.m. which got us to the airport. We took the plane at 8:30 p.m. and landed in Madrid, Spain at 10 a.m. At that moment, the adventure was about to begin. My dad knocked my room’s door because he had a feeling that it was our fault. We ran out for help and after that, one of the staff members told us it was because of a voltage spike caused by the three European electrical adapters we connected at the same time.
