Answer:

Exercise helps us keep fit, both in mind and body. Walking is the best form of exercise and suits people of all ages. Early morning is considered a good time for a walk. The air is fresh, there is a certain quietness everywhere and the rays of the early morning sun are pleasing.

I go for a morning walk every day. My friend Raj at accompanies me. Sometimes when he cannot come, I go alone. He is my classmate and lives close to my house. I wake up very early, at 5 am and go out for a walk.

We walk briskly along a road leading to the outskirts of the city. The cool morning breeze, the chirping of the birds and the magnificent rising sun greet us on our walk. The whole scene, flooded with the mellow golden light of the sun, is fascinating. It is all very poetic.

We race for some distance and then walk slowly for sometime. There is a beautiful park in our neighbourhood. We take off our shoes and walk on the dewy grass.

Our morning walk takes a little more than an hour every day. We get back home by 6.15 am or so. We feel refreshed, happy and well prepared to start our day. A morning walk has a wonderful effect on the mind and body which stays for the rest of the day.
