Hello, my name is Eliza and I am thirteen. I live in an apartment in England in London with my family, my big brother, my mother and my father.
For the summer holidays this year I went to Lebanon with my family. Usually we go there because my dad is from there and we have a vacation home there.
We travel by plane and it takes four hours, I do not like to travel by plane because there is not enough space to relax but I like the view from the window. On the other side, my brother hates traveling by plane because it makes him sick.
In Lebanon we stay in a small apartment in town and often we stay for five weeks. In my opinion I think the city we stay in is great because there are plenty of shops to shop in and there are restaurants with delicious food that are not expensive.
During the holidays we often go to the beach because the weather is always good so you can go swimming. My brother likes to go fishing with my dad, but I will not because I find it annoying. Still, I love swimming and diving so I like to spend a holiday in the sea or in the pools.
Sometimes on holiday we go to my grandmother's house in the mountains, I hate trips there as we travel by car and the heat makes me feel dizzy and it gives me a headache. However, when I am there, I will ride and ride long walks. At night, when the weather is cooler, I go with my cousins to a youth club where you can play sports and games. I love it because I like to play basketball so I can have fun and also practical. One of my cousins hates it because he does not like to do sports but I convince him to come.
When I was younger, I used to go with my father to Lebanon during the Easter holidays. We spent most holidays skiing or snowboarding. Also, I enjoyed going skiing, but now I'm too afraid of. In addition, I do not want to " Go to Easter because there was only a week to do things and I prefer hot climates.
On the other hand, I would like to go to Italy because I love Italian culture and food. Also, I would go to Venice especially so that I can go on the canal magnify because it seems relaxing. Also, I would like to go on holiday with my friends because it would be great fun but my parents my parents say that I am too young.
Next year, during the summer holidays, I go to France and I will stay in a hotel in the center of Paris. I will go with my brother, my parents and my grandparents.
