One day when I was returning to home from my school, I saw a puppy, who was shivering from cold. Even though I wanted, I could not ignore him. My parents do not like pets especially puppies and thus I could not take him home. But when I saw him shivering I decided to take him home. When did my mother ask me why did I get late? I simply reply to her that there was a meeting for an upcoming competition. She believed me, but I felt very bad that I had to tell a lie to my Mom. After that I went to my room and asked the puppy to come out I covered him with some old clothes and went to the kitchen to get some milk. My Mom was shocked when she saw me taking milk from the kitchen as I hate milk. She did not say anything and just followed me to my room. She saw me with the puppy and screamed. My father rushed to us and saw the puppy. He was very furious with this act and wanted me to leave the puppy from where I picked him.
I told a lie to my parents about the meeting but my intention was not bad and I wanted to save the life of a puppy. I deliberately told a lie but my lie did not harm anyone. So, on my request, my parents agreed to keep the puppy at home.
