Unity in diversity is very important for our country. In India people belonging to many religions live here so a Unity between them is must. In India, Hindus, Muslims Sikhs and Christian are mostly found. They all live in the same society. They don't interefere on the religious matters of another community. Even they celebrate festivals of other religions too which shows that India has Unity in Diversity.
They help each other. Deepawali is a holy festival of Hindus but it is celebrated by the whole country even by other religion's people.
Every citizen of India must follow the rule of Unity in Diversity. Going against this rule may be not good for that person. He might be sentenced to imprisonment if he tries to violate any particular religion against any other religion. Also our government shows Unity in Diversity by not interfering in religious matters of any community.
For Example Sikhs are allowed not to wear the helmet if they wish as they already wear a big turban on the head. Similarly government do not interfere in any religious march. Everyone is free to practice any religion of their choice. These all things show that India has Unity in Diversity.
