So no of question of 4 marks = 40-x

according to question -

$2x+ 4(40 - x) = 100$

$2x + 160 - 4x = 100$

$2x + 160 = 100$

$2x = 160 - 100$

$2x = 60 \\ = 30$

So, 2 mark question = 30

4 mark question = 10
