x2 - 2x +  5 when compared with the standard form of the quadratic equation, a = 1, b=- 2, c=5
Value of the discriminant =
b2 - 4 ac
= (-2)2 - 4(1) (5)
= 4 - 20
= - 15
The value of thediscriminant is negative i.e less than zero. Hence, the quadratic equation x2 - 2x +  5 has no real zeroes.
