An example of a heteropolysaccharide is Cellulose.
Heteropolysaccharide commonly called as Glycosaminoglycan, are nothing but polymers of simultaneous units of more than one kind of monosaccharide where these monosaccharides are amino sugars.
They include chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, sulphate and heparin with sulphate being an important component of cartilage.
The former acid is found in the fluid of joints and also in vitreous humor of the eye and the later one is an anticoagulant.
Hyaluronic acid, is an example of heteropolysaccharide which is formed by thousands units of N-acetyl glucosamine and glucagon acid.
