An exhausted zeolite softener was regenerated by passing 75 liters of a solution having a strength of 150 g/liter of NaCl. How many liters of water samples having a hardness of 300 ppm can be softened using this softener?​

225 x 105 mg NaCl = 225 x 105/58.5 X 50

Hardness of 1 lit of water = 600 ppm

Volume of water =CaCO3 equivalent of NaCl /hardness

Volume of water =192.31 X 105 /600
