An experiment measured quantities a,b,c and then x is calculated by using the relation x = ab2 / c3 . If the percentage errors in measurements a.b,and c are ± 1%, ± 2% and ± 1.5% respectively, then calculate the maximum percentage error in value of x obtained.

Answer:

Explanation:

% ERROR IN A= 1

% ERROR IN B=2

% ERROR IN C = 1.5

GIVEN X= AB²/C³

% ERROR IN X = % ERROR IN A+ 2* % ERROR IN B+ 3* % ERROR IN C

                        = 1+2*2+3*1.5

                        =1+4+4.5

                        = 9.5 % ERROR IN X

HOPE THIS HELPS.
