An experiment measures quantities a, b, c and x is calculated from x = ab 2 /c 3 . if the maximum percentage error in a, b and c are 1%, 3% and 2% respectively, the maximum percentage error in x will be (1) 13 % (2) 17 % (3) 14 % (4) 11 %

x = a b^2 / c^3 ...

differentiate it.....

Rember always that error is always maximum always take positive aign...

Error in x in % = a% + 2× b% + 3 × c%
= 1 + 2×3 + 3×2 ....
= 13 % ......
