An explorer is washed up on the shores of a remote
island inhabited by cannibals. He is captured and
taken to the chieftain. The chieftain allows the
explorer to defend himself saying, if his statement
is true, then they will burn him at the stake. If his
statement is false, they will boil him in oil.
What did the explorer say that saved his life?

Answer He will say "You are going to boil me"
Explanation:
Ist case : If they want to burn him then he is false but if his statement is false they have to boil him.
2nd case : if they want to boil him then he is true but if his statement is true they have to burn him
So they can't decide whether to burn him or boil him and he is safe.
