Since exterior angle is >90 which means sum of opp angles is also >90

i.e. angle A + angle B < 90

By angle sum property,

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180

angle A + angle B = 180- angle C

since angle A + angle B < 90

=> angle C < 90, which is an obtuse angle

=> Triangle is an obtuse angle ∆
