An ibject weighs 10 N on the earth . Find its mass on the earth and on the moon.
Also find its weight on the moon​

Weight on Earth = 10 N

Weight on Moon = 1/6 × 10 N = 5/3 N = 1.66 N

Weight = Mass × Acceleration

Acceleration on Earth = 9.8 m/s²

Hence, mass on Earth = 10/9.8 Kg = 1.02 Kg

Mass is constant all over the universe.

Hence, mass on Moon = 1.02 Kg
