an ice cube floats in a glass of water. as the ice melts,how does the level of water in the glass change? would it make difference if the ice cube were hollow? explain

basically the floating sinking mechanism is based on intrinsic property called density and has nothing to do with hollow or n things.as density of water at 4c is maximum ice floats on it
