The percentage of the total volume of ice : volume of water is:

900 kg / m^3 : 1030 kg / m^3

==> 0.87378

So 0.87378 is 87.378%

The fraction of volume above water is :

100% - 87.378%

==> 12.622%

Thus 12.622% is above water

Hope it helps you
