An ideal gas expands isothermally from v1 to v2.It is then compressed to the original volume v1 adiabatically. If p1,p2 and w represent the initial pressure, final pressure and the net work done by the gas respectively during the entire process ,then
1) p1>p2,w=0. 2)p1>p2,w>0
3)p2>p1,w>0. 4)p2>p1,w<0
PLZZ answer my que i will mark as brainliest surely

I have used P3 inplace of P2.

The pressures follow an inequality relation because both the processes are different and also the slope of an adiabatic curve is gamma times more than the slope of an isothermal curve so any other configuration would have been invalid.

The explanation for Net work done is in the image.
