an ideal gas has an initial pressure
of 3 pressure units and initial volume of 4 volume units the table gives the final pressure and the volume of the gas( in those same unit) in four processes which process starts and ends on the same isotherm

In the four processes the process that starts and ends on same isotherm is C
●We know that isothermal process is a change of system in which temperature remains constant that is change in temperature is 0.
●In isothermal process
T= constant dT=0
●work done in isothermal process PV=constant that is P1V1=P2V2.
●Initially P1=3atm V1=4 units
Work done =P1V1=12units
●Now process in which work is 12 is process C as P2V2 =12 units.
●as in process C P1V1=P2V2 so process C is isotherm or isothermal process.
