An ideal liquid is flowing through a horizontal tube of a variable diameter. Where is the pressure minimum in relation to velocity?

The other answers are all wrong. The pressure is minimum when the velocity is maximum.

It's very important if we know what we mean by pressure. We call the pressure discussed here the “static pressure”. If we drill a hole in the side of the duct or pipe and run a tube from there to a pressure gauge, then we get the static pressure. That's the pressure felt by the inside surface of the duct.

The other pressure is the “total pressure”. If we poke a tube into the flow pointing directly up stream, then we get a higher pressure. The fluid hits the flat end of this tube and then has to stop or change direction to get around it. That adds the kinetic energy of the fluid particles to the fluid in the pipe, pushing it in harder than it would if it were just streaming past, as it was for the hole in the side of the duct.

We can demonstrate high velocity having low static pressure by blowing across the top of a straw in your drink. You won't blow bubbles. You'll suck it up and spray everybody.

So, on increasing area velocity decreases .

So , in pressure is less than area will be more,and area will be more than velocity will be less.

Finally we can say that if pressure is minimum than than velocity velocity will we less.
