My Parents raised me well and provided every need of mine in time. Not many children born with this fate. My cousin Ratan was always felt envy of this. His father's income was very less and they had many financial problems.
Once my parents bought me an expensive bicycle for my birthday . I use to ride it for hours after school and did not let anyone touch it. One day Ratan asked me for my bicycle which i refused. At that time I did not knew what was going through his mind. A parked my bicycle near a footpath and went to buy something from a shop. When I returned my bicycle was missing. I searched for it everywhere but couldn't found.
After many years Ratan confessed to me that he was the one who stole my bicycle as he was envy of my good fortune.

I had always been very fond of my friend Ryan ever since his family moved in next door. When he took admission in my school we got more time together as we traveled in the same bus to and from our school. He is the only child and his father is a ManagingDdirector in an M.N.C. He has all the games and gadgets that a child can wish for. Occasionally, when I went to visit him on weekends or during vacation, he was kind enough to share them with me.
Once we had a painting competition in our school conducted by National Thermal Power Corporation and both of us were selected by our Art teacher for the competition. Everyone did his best. To my surprise I won the first prize which carried a cash prize of rupees twenty thousand. I also got a Milton water bottle, a pack of acrylic colors and a drawing board. From that very day I noticed a change in Ryan's behavior and he started avoiding me. When I went to his home, he gave an excuse that he had to go for a birthday party. When I talked with his mother the next day, she told that he had cried a lot after coming back home on the day our result was declared. I got to understand that he was envious as he could not accept the fact that I was better then him.
I am still waiting for him to be normal again.
