It was a normal, humid afternoon with the sun shining, and a few broken clouds here and there, yet absolutely no sign of rain. As I rode on my motorcycle through the highway, lost in the thread of random thoughts, I was suddenly interrupted by what’s in front of me.

I could see a few feet ahead of me perfectly sunny as it was, but right from that point, it’s raining cats and dogs. The shadow cast by the thick blanket of clouds was right there, and what looked like all the clouds in the world have come pouring down right ahead of me. And boy, was it noisy!

The sight of this, and knowing that in about three seconds, I would ride right into the heavy downpour that looked like it was from an invisible water cannon up above, got my heart racing. Adrenaline was rushing. It was as if the nature was unleashing a small, yet a stunningly delightful surprise.

With all this going on, I didn’t slow down or do anything, just let myself ride into the downpour, feeling like I just entered a waterfall. I’ve never, ever had a sunny, humid day turn into a grey, rainy one that fast, which made it one of the most memorable experiences ever.
