People never expect the unexpected. I had to deal with an unexpected event and it was my little brother’s birthday. Many guests came to our place that evening. About 30 people including my uncles, aunts, grandparents, friends, neighbors. Everything was fine, everyone was joking, talking. Shortly afterwards was the cake-cutting episode. But something bad happened. I suddenly noticed black smoke coming out of the kitchen, I got scared and ran to the kitchen. I went and saw that the fire was burning in the kitchen and the furniture was also on fire. I shouted and called everyone, everyone gathered. My mother was trying to keep the kids safe so they wouldn't be scared. My uncle was helping me put out the fire. It took about 30 minutes to put out the fire. My hands caught fire and were slightly bruised, and some furniture was burnt. Besides, there was no damage. Maybe something worse could have happened, we survived for a while. The evening of that day was truly terrifying, a memorable day in my life, which I will never forget.
