an inclined plane of length 12m is used to pull a load of 3000N to a height of 3m by applying an effort of 1000N.Calculate the MA,VR and efficiency. Also find the woirk done in the machine! ( If you give me the correct answer very fast then I'll mark you as the brainliest)

Answer:

i) The mechanical advantage of an inclined plane, equal to the load  divided by the effort

so,  load = 3000N

effort = 1000N

M A = 3000/ 1000

       = 3

ii)  the Velocity Ratio (VR) is calculated by dividing the distance moved by the effort by the distance moved by the load.

so,  velocity ratio = 12/ 3

                              = 4 m/s

iii)  efficiency = M A / V R × 100

                      = 3/ 4 × 100

                      = 75 %

iv) work done = net force × displacement

     net force = (  1000 - 3000 sin Ф)

 sin Ф = 3/ 12

net force  = 1000 - 750

                 = 250 N

work done = 250 × 12

                  = 3000 J
