An ineffecient is said to "waste energy".Does this mean the energy is actually lost? Explain. Please dont answer invalidly if seen will be reported​

"Waste energy" is usually said in a sense when the energy used wasn't productive in the case one wanted to but it doesn't mean that energy is actually lost because "energy can neither be created nor destroyed".

For example : If a person is trying to push a wall expecting some motion in it but it is seen that the wall doesn't move at all. So, for that person his energy might have been wasted but did he actually lost his energy? The answer is NO because his energy has been used in a little bit of compression of particles of the wall.

So, this continuous conversion of energy keep taking place from one form to another.
