Given- For infinitely long cylinder,

inner radius=R/2

outer radius=R

To find - The magnitude of the magnetic field |B| as a function of the radial distance r from the axis is best represented by

solution - 1.Inside the cylinder

r<R/2 therefore B=0

2. For R/2<r<R

B=μ₀/2[r-R²/2r]j

3.for r>R

B=μ₀/2πr

Now to plot the graph

we can first draw the line on x axis till R/2 then

the graph curves upwards.
