an inflated Ballon bursts if you slightly push its surface with the pointed tip of a pencil However it does not burst if you push it gently with your finger. WHY?​

the tip is very sharp

but finger is very soft

Answer:Always when surface area of the object is lesser, the pressure is greater and when surface area of the object increases, the pressure decreases .

So when we use the pencil ,that balloon bursts but not in the case of when we use our fingers.

(Hint - pressure = thrust/area)
