An inflated balloon burst if you slightly push its surface with the pointed tip of a pencil. However, it does not burst if you push it gently with your finger. Why?

when we push a balloon with the tip of the pencil it bursts but when we push it with hand it doesn't because the area of the tip of pencil is very less than the area of our finger so greater pressure is applied by the tip of pencil and the balloon bursts.

Answer:Always when surface area of the object is lesser, the pressure is greater and when surface area of the object increases, the pressure decreases .
So when we use the pencil ,that balloon bursts but not in the case of when we use our fingers.
