an inflated balloon bursts if you push it's surface with a pointed tip of pencil. however nothing happens to inflated balloon when you push it hard with a finger. why​

when we push its surface with our finger, the surface area in contact with its surface is more so ultimately pressure will be less and balloon does not burst & when we push it with pointed tip of pencil, the surface area in contact with its surface is less and pressure is more and balloon bursts out !!!!!
